This project aims to enhance the reporting of corruption by raising awareness among civil servants about the protections available to whistleblowers and witnesses of corruption. Through in-person trainings for civil servants in four of Jordan’s governorates, training workshops for a number of executive directors of public agencies in the Amman governorate, and informative media content distributed virtually, this awareness campaign seeks to reduce the perceived level of danger associated with reporting corruption and thus the aversion to it.
This project is funded by the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives, a fund of the Canadian Embassy to Jordan. This project is also supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Water and Irrigation, and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
