Parish Priest Father Imad Alamat welcomed the Jordanian Transparency Center, and gave a summary of the importance of the role of civil society institutions in promoting transparency and combating corruption, and the importance of school students\u2019 involvement in public work by volunteering to work for these institutions to promote the concept of citizenship, as they are \u201cknights of change.\u201d On them, His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein in many of his speeches<\/span><\/strong><br \/><strong><span>In her turn, the head of the center, Ajeilat, referred to the concept of transparency and anti-corruption, and stressed that the fight against corruption begins with the self, is developed through the school, is reinforced at the university, and then is practiced in the community.\u00a0Then I presented an overview of the establishment of the Jordanian Transparency Center, which was born from a will and transformed into an idea and then translated into a reality that transcends the borders of the Kingdom to represent Jordanian civil society in many regional and international forums, and the center spares no effort in communicating with individuals and community organizations to raise awareness and intensify efforts to reach common goals. The center also gives the youth a great deal of attention and care, as it has embraced a number of university students and formed a team of Knights of Transparency, and invites school students to join the center to form a nucleus for the Knights of Transparency at the school level in the Kingdom.<\/span><\/strong><br \/><strong><span>Center members represented by lawyer Mr. Fawar al-Shobaki, lawyer Mr. Safwan al-Majali, Dr. Ola Abbasi and Ms. Nancy Shehatit presented a summary on the importance of voting and the role of youth in participating in the electoral process, and on the new draft election law in terms of its pros and cons.
